“That’s all it is, a game.”

“Despite the theme of my assignment in Ukraine being Euro 2012, Abbie and I still managed to avoid focussing too much on football. It’s not that I don’t enjoy kicking a ball around. It simply vexes me, when the scene of a sport overwhelmes the enjoyment and simple fun of it being a game – that ’s all it is, a game.

However in the spirit of the footy season here are a few from the Ukraine feature… a land I need to return to. (I‘ am as usual craving a wee adventure and a desire to run away or at least walk and take pictures).

Alcohol and coffee are slowly replacing bloodstream as I’ve really enjoyed giving a few talks this week. Media mash (http://fireflyphotofilms.com/mediamash/london) is a monthly Tuesday photo social that combines a short visiting talk and then the project and idea group crits with beer/wine (joy).“

Skepsis, Begeisterung, Liebe

Laura Pannack, gewann 2009 den ersten Preis in der Kategorie Portrait Singles des World Press Photo Award. Über ihre Fotografie sagt sie: I couldn’t live without a medium format camera. Really, any kind of film camera and a roll of Kodak Portra 400. I will always be shooting. It’s an addiction. As long as I am learning I will be happy. I hope my images are honest. That’s all I hope for.” ANTROBIUS zeigt hier Fotos von ihrem Blog.
